Everything you might want to know about Bloody Pottery — from how each piece is made and cared for to orders, delivery, and everything in between.
About Bloody Pottery
Bloody Pottery is a small home ceramics studio in Cyprus, creating handmade pieces with character. Everything is made slowly, in small batches, with a love for bold designs, playful details, and the little imperfections that make each piece unique.
Yes! Every Bloody Pottery piece is made by hand in my small home studio in Cyprus. From shaping and trimming to glazing and finishing, each piece goes through my hands — which is why no two will ever be exactly the same.
Not all of them. Some Bloody Pottery pieces are truly one of a kind, while others belong to signature collections that I recreate from time to time. But because everything is handmade, even pieces from the same collection will have their own little differences — no two are ever exactly alike.
Not at the moment. Bloody Pottery is a small home studio, so I don’t currently have the space to host workshops. Maybe one day! :)
Product Care & Handmade Variations
If a piece is marked as one of a kind, the one you see in the photos is the exact piece you’ll receive. For pieces from our signature collections, expect small variations in shape, colour, glaze, and texture — each one is handmade, so no two will ever be exactly the same.
Yes! All Bloody Pottery tableware is made from high-temperature stoneware and finished with food-safe glazes, so it’s made to be used and enjoyed every day.
Most Bloody Pottery pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. However, some pieces may need a little extra care, so always check the individual product page for specific instructions. When in doubt, a gentle hand wash is the safest choice.
Bloody Pottery pieces are made to be used and loved. Most pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, but a gentle hand wash is always the kindest option. Avoid sudden temperature changes and handle larger or more delicate pieces with a little extra care. Always check the individual product page for specific care instructions.
Orders & Availability
If it was a one-of-a-kind piece, then probably not — once it’s gone, it’s gone.
If it’s part of a signature Bloody Pottery collection, you might see it again, as I try to bring back some favourite designs from time to time. Just remember that every piece is handmade, so the next one will always have its own little nuances and will never be exactly the same.
Sometimes! :) If you’d like me to recreate a piece you previously bought from Bloody Pottery, bring back a sold-out design you’ve seen me make, or create something specific in my style, I’ll be happy to discuss it.
I also accept selected orders for restaurants and other businesses looking for custom tableware. If your vision aligns with my style and you embrace the little imperfections that come with handmade ceramics, we might be a perfect match.
One thing I don’t do is recreate or copy other artists’ designs.
I try to release a new collection each season, but handmade pottery has its own timeline, so exact dates can be hard to promise. Follow Bloody Pottery on Instagram to be the first to know when the next drop is coming.

A vase that feels like summer captured in clay. Inspired by the last moments before sunset, when the sky shifts from golden yellow to glowing orange and deep crimson. The flowing glaze captures that fleeting horizon line where daylight melts into dusk, creating a piece that feels warm, bold, and alive.

Like sipping something sweet while watching the sky turn pink at sunset. Inspired by the rich reds of ripe summer berries and the warm glow of a setting sun. The flowing glaze creates soft layers of crimson, coral, and cream, capturing a fleeting moment of color that can never be recreated exactly the same way.
